Au revoir, Pittsburgh
I won’t really miss you. But I had a good time. Drove back to Madison yesterday, then Madison to the cities today.
Pittsburgh was the same as last time I was there, only a little cooler (upper 70s/low 80s), a little muggier, and generally dreary.
Other than my sister’s graduation, alumni dinner, and some meals with her, her boyfriend, and the family, the notable places I got to see the National Aviary, The Warhol, and The Frick (Pittsburgh). The graduation ceremony was in the Carnegie Music Hall, which is right next to the Carnegie Musuem of Art and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (think one giant block). The really should have turned the air on, people were taking off their coats and fanning themselves in the balcony seating, and I hear it wasn’t much better down below.
Now that I’m back, I’m catching up on yard work, doing some laundry, and will probably be reseeding a portion of my yard tomorrow, my last day of vacation.
